The Embassy South Reserve location is Tarahunase, a village north of Yelahanka in North Bengaluru, postcode 562157. Embassy's presentation calls it "North Yelahanka". The site sits beside Tarahunase Lake, just north of Stonehill International School and the Embassy International Riding School, on land the Embassy family has owned for more than thirty years.

It is part of Embassy Origins, an 85 acre township. South Reserve is the apartment community on about 15 acres; the villas of Embassy Riverine take most of the rest.

Where exactly is Embassy South Reserve?

On Embassy's own location map, the project sits between Vidyashilp University to the north and Stonehill International School to the south. Chapparakallu Road runs along its eastern side, and Doddaballapura Main Road, with Rajanukunte railway station, lies to the west. Bellary Road (NH 44), the main route to the airport, is further east.

How far is the airport and the city?

Being on the airport side of the city matters for frequent flyers and for buyers abroad who visit a few times a year. The trade off is distance from the older job hubs: the drive to Whitefield or the Outer Ring Road is long at peak hours.

What is missing nearby?

An honest answer: this is a quiet, green belt, not a finished suburb. There is no metro station close by, and our map data shows no large supermarket within walking distance. Everyday shopping, hospitals of any size and restaurants mean a drive towards Yelahanka. The nearest clinics we found are small, around Rajanukunte, 3 to 4 km away.

That is the price of the setting. The same openness is why Embassy could plan 4,000 trees and five lakes here, which would not be possible closer to the city.

Schools are the strong point

Who will this location suit?

It suits families who want space and trees, people who work near the airport or in the north of the city, and buyers abroad who value a short trip from the airport. Getting there for a site visit

From the airport, the usual route runs south on Bellary Road (NH 44) and then west on the road past Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology towards Stonehill International School. From the city, drive north on Bellary Road past Yelahanka and take the same turn. Ask your driver for Stonehill International School or the Embassy International Riding School; the site is just north of both.

Go at the time of day you would really travel. A weekday morning run shows you the traffic on Bellary Road, and a weekend visit shows you how quiet the area is.
